1130 Valves and Repair Kits Being Phased Out
Answering the needs of Harper's customers, JRG Gunzenhauser has developed a superior water valve to replace the 1130. This is good news for uninterrupted water service. The key features and benefits of the 1300 are:

The JRG 1300
The new 1300 valve is available now through Harper, and the older 1130's will be phased out, along with the 1130 repair kits.
Harper will place the final order for repair kits with JRG in January, 2003. After this last shipment, the factory will no longer have parts available for the 1130. The new and old valve parts are not interchangeable. Many of our clients are preparing in advance by stocking up on auxiliary inserts, repair kits, and emergency spare parts. If you are interested in maintaining your 1130's, place your order for repair kits and parts as soon as possible.

Harper International will perform a building audit for a small fee to identify the required replacement equipment. As mentioned, this newly upgraded JRG 1300 valve will have better performance and no user-serviceable components, providing you with and even lower cost of ownership, with savings in downtime, labor, and repair parts. This new valve is offered at the same price as the old. The 1130 was a vast improvement over the older direct acting valves, and we believe the 1300's will be a comparable upgrade over the 1130's.
